AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway CEO Wally Aquino

Wally De Aquino serves as the chief executive officer and president for AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway.
De Aquino received a Master of Business Administration in health care administration from Regis University in 2005, a Bachelor of finance from the University of Massachusetts in 2000, and an Associate of business administration from Bristol College in 1997.
Key projects and initiatives under De Aquino’s direction: include transitioning OP Rehab from PT Solutions to an in-house department aligning the culture and resulting in a $250K expense reduction, partnering with the City of Palm Coast to recruit University of North Florida and Jacksonville University to build a new campus in Palm Coast, building a simulation lab to serve team members of Central Florida Division-North and students from University of North Florida and Jacksonville University, negotiating and establishing a partnership with Flagler County Schools that included a focus on sports, careers and mental health, leading the planning and construction of a new $167 million campus comprised of a 100 beds hospital and a 30,000 square foot medical office building, overseeing the planning of a new cancer center, serving as the AdventHealth Palm Coast executive sponsor for the EPIC implementation, leading a major renovation of a $5 million OR and ambulatory surgery center, and developing a partnership with the Hammock Dunes community to expand rehabilitation services.
