Hammock Beach members hosted the 3rd annual golf outing on December 17th for Veterans Charity Gratitude America.
The money raised supports the activity that GratitudeAmerica uses to help veterans and their families. GratitudeAmerica hosts 12 military support retreats in Marineland and Amelia island.
Military Support Retreats are a no-cost 4-day immersive experience that helps combat Veterans and their supporters make peace with their past and plan for their future.
GratitudeAmerica also conducts a program called WARRIOR PATH. WP is an intensive and immersive 7-day program, followed by 90 day guidance at no-cost to the Vet.
County Commissioner Greg Hansen, a 27 Year Navy Vet, was the guest speaker at the event.
