Trustco Is Palm Coast’s Newest Bank

Trustco Bank became the latest bank to call Palm Coast home as it celebrated the opening of its newest branch in the Target shopping center on Route 100 on October 25.
Executive Vice-President of Trustco Bank, Eric Schreck, pictured above right in the gray suit, attended the opening in his role as Florida Regional President. Joining him in the ribbon cutting ceremony (above from right) was Palm Coast Mayor David Alfin, County Commissioner Greg Hansen, Trusty, the bank’s mascot, and Vincent Amore, the branch manager of the bank.
Trustco Bank was founded in Schenectady, New York in 1902 and now has 148 branches in New York, Vermont, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Florida, where it has 53 branches alone.
Mayor Alfin spoke after the ribbon cutting ceremony, stating that “With Trustco’s motto being, ‘Our reputation is making you feel like family,’ Palm Coast is absolutely the perfect partner for a branch bank location: our community has always valued a personal connection that brings us together for a common cause.
“That’s why the alliance between the city of Palm Coast and Trustco Bank is the perfect relationship. I’m honored today to reach out to Trustco’s own employees to welcome your new Belle Terre branch to our City family and to let you know that we look forward to working together as one unit to build community strength and spirit.”
The event was attended by dozens of people and food was provided by Carrabba’s Italian Grill.
